Abstract is: Marie Brema (28 February 1856 – 22 March 1925) was a British mezzo-soprano active in concert, operatic and oratorio roles during the last decade of the 19th and the first decade of the 20th centuries. She was the first British singer to appear at the Bayreuth Festspielhaus.
