Abstract is: Fabio Pammolli (born 11 January 1965) has been president of Jacobs University Bremen, an English-language campus university in Bremen, Germany, since 1 January 2022. Previously, the Italian was professor of economics and management at the Polytechnic University of Milan. In his work as a scientist, Pammolli combines various methods from statistical physics and economics. He thus covers a wide range of topics that include the analysis of growth, diversification, instability of firms and economic as well as financial systems. In addition, Pammolli is active in university administration, on various supervisory and advisory boards, and as an author.
